The daughter of Rolling Stone Keith Richards has appeared in a US court on drug and graffiti charges after police allegedly saw her painting on the side of a New York city building.
Theodora Richards, 25, was released without bail after her arraignment. She did not enter a plea.
According to the criminal complaint, officers noticed the model drawing a small "T (heart) A" in red ink on the side of a building that houses a convent in the Soho section of Manhattan on Tuesday night.
She told an officer: "I hope I don't get in trouble for this," police said.
Police revealed they found a small amount of marijuana, eight and a half hydrocodone pills and a paint marker on Richards.
But she did not have a prescription for the hydrocodone, a pain reliever, police said.
She is due back in court on April 21.
Richards' lawyer Stacey Richman, would say only that Richards was "a polite, lovely woman".
Richards, who modelled for Burberry and Tommy Hilfiger, lives in Soho.
She and her sister Alexandra are the daughters of rocker Keith Richards and his wife, Patti Hansen. The guitarist has two other children.
