Windows Live Maps presents a geographical guide to the key regional differences in what worries young people in Britain between the ages of 16 and 25.
Debt, violent crime and unemployment are the top three concerns for young British people.
A new study has revealed that almost half (48%) of those aged between 16 and 25 see debt as one of their biggest fears for the future.
Of the 1,220 people surveyed, 40% revealed they are afraid of unemployment and 38% said that violent crime is their number one concern.
In the North East, fear of violent crime is greater than anywhere else in the country, with 57% of 16-to-25-year-olds citing it as the biggest worry.
Lucy Neville-Rolfe, director of corporate and legal affairs at Tesco, which commissioned the study with charity CSV, said: "It was interesting and a little disturbing to read this survey that suggested young people were so concerned about debt, unemployment and crime.”
Other issues that worry young people include global warming, drug abuse, racial tension, obesity and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
As shown in MSN’s map below, there were some distinct regional variations in what concerns young people the most. Violent crime is the top worry for Londoners, while the region most concerned about debt is the South West.
