Teen charged over Notting Hill Carnival stabbing
A 16-year-old boy has been charged over a knife attack at the Notting Hill Carnival.
The teenager appeared at West London Youth Court, where he was charged with grievous bodily harm following the assault on Rio Andre, 20, on Monday.
He was also charged with possession of an offensive weapon and was remanded in custody to reappear at the court on September 28.
Europe's biggest street festival saw only a small number of isolated incidents amid an unprecedented security operation following the riots in London and other cities earlier this month.
