Ian Jones

Ian Jones

Ian has worked at MSN since March 2006.

Previously he had been, in no particular order, a receptionist for a local radio station, a librarian in a sixth-form college, an exam invigilator, the editor of the official Hollyoaks website, a pianist in a jazz group, and a teacher of politics and popular music to mature students.

He is the author of A History of British Breakfast Television (Kelly Books, 2004), co-writer of TV Cream: The Ultimate Guide to 70s and 90s Pop Culture (Virgin, 2005), and contributor to Shouting at the Telly (Faber & Faber, 2009).

Andy Young

Andy Young

Andy joined MSN in August 2009 with nearly 10 years online editorial experience.

His online life started at The Sun, before a move to Australia. What was meant to be a short trip Down Under turned into seven years with Andy working for Yahoo! for the majority of this time.

After making the difficult decision to return to the UK he worked for the Daily Mail's sport website before making the move to MSN. Prior to joining the wonderful world of online he worked in a variety of roles including marketing executive, customer service advisor and beer sales rep.

Lee Harvey

Lee Harvey

Following a dramatic career transition in 2009 and a subsequent 18-month diversion into the murky but enjoyable world of men's lifestyle websites, Lee rejoined the MSN UK News team in November 2011.

Lee previously worked on MSN News as a content editor and between 2007 and 2009, covering pretty much everything from the 2008 US election through to his favourite "and finally" stories. His knowledge of Barack Obama's ascent to the American presidency is only surpassed by his expertise on world bog snorkeling championships.

Back when journalism began with the death of a tree, Lee started out his working life as a freelance music journalist for Vox magazine and the New Musical Express. He has also worked as a publishing editor for a financial jobs site.
