Tickling the clouds at a height of 165 metres, the Singapore Flyer is the biggest observation wheel in the world. It's 30 metres taller than the London Eye and each capsule is about the size of a Singapore bus.

With a diameter of 150 metres (about the length of 87 Singaporean men lying down head-to-toe), one rotation takes about 30 minutes.

To mark the Flyer's official opening, MSN UK News has compiled a gallery of stunning images of the whopping wheel.
