A man has been arrested at Rio de Janerio airport in Brazil after customs officials found 1,000 live tarantula spiders carefully packed in boxes within his suitcases.

Eww ... i hate tarantulas they creep me out, even looking at them makes me shiver!
As far as I am aware, the chappy "smuggling" the tarantulas had his plane diverted. He had the paperwork for the Tarantulas for the countries he was SUPPOSED to be in, but not for the country the plane ended up being in.
Of course, that information has come from the media, so may be incorrect.
Not that I agree with him trying to transport that amount of tarantulas in a couple of suitcases but oh well. I have bought tarantulas from his shop before and will in all likelihood continue to do so.
