A year has passed since Madeleine McCann disappeared from a holiday apartment in Portugal and the media spotlight focuses once again on her family’s plight. But Madeleine is not the only missing person out there, and while her case has received massive coverage other missing people and their stories remain completely unknown. An estimated 210,000 people go missing in the UK every year, causing huge amounts of suffering for their families and friends. MSN UK News has compiled a selection of photos of current missing people, all of whom disappeared before they turned 18. If you have information on these people or any other missing persons, visit the Missing People website.
