Man dies after North Sea ferry fall
The man was recovered from the sea by an RAF helicopter
A man has died after falling from a ferry in the North Sea.
Aberdeen Coastguard said it received an emergency call at about 8.20pm on Sunday.
The man went overboard 33 miles north of Fraserburgh on the north-east coast.
A fast rescue boat was launched from the ferry and the man was recovered from the sea by an RAF helicopter. He was pronounced dead at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
