Great rack student hits back
It was meant to be a joke. Madeline Grant, 19, boasted of a "great rack" in her poster to be elected to Oxford Union's debating society. She wanted to become, of all things, the group's librarian.
But instead of a laugh, all it got her was a £120 fine - and a grilling she likened to a scene from To Kill A Mocking Bird.
In Madeline's words, it didn't seem to be the actions of a "liberal arts" courts. She has now quit the union.
