A BRITISH boy saved his family's life by telling one of the Nairobi mall terrorists, "You're a bad man, let us leave." Incredibly, the armed militant obliged and even gave Mars bars to four-year-old Elliott Prior and his six-year-old sister Amelie, The Sun reports.
"Please forgive me, we are not monsters," the gunman reportedly told them.
Elliott and Amelie were buying groceries at the Westgate shopping centre with their mother Amber, when the gunmen struck on Saturday. The 35-year-old film producer from Windsor in Berkshire had left her children with her shopping trolley and gone to get a bottle of wine, when the al-Shabaab jihadists began their killing spree.

Amber was shot in the leg as she rushed back to her children. It was then that a terrorist carrying an AK-47 assault rifle walked up to the terrified British family and Elliott bravely took him to task.
Photographs taken at the scene show Amber, ashen-faced and bleeding from a leg wound, leading Elliott and Amelie down the steps of the Westgate mall. Elliott is wearing a green T-shirt with the slogan ‘I Love NY' on the front and clutching a Mars bar in each hand.
Another picture shows a distraught Amelie standing next to a dead body at the foot of the shopping centre's steps.
The Sun says Amber managed to "scoop up" two other children as she fled the mall. She pushed one of them, a wounded 12-year-old boy whose mother had been murdered, out of the building in a shopping trolley.
Elliott's uncle Alex Coutts, 42, told the paper that the family had had a "lucky escape". He revealed that the terrorists had told Amber that they only wanted to kill "Kenyans and Americans" and advised her to change her religion to Islam.
"Do you forgive us?" they reportedly asked her. ·
