If you like keeping up with the news (and that can mean anything from politics, finance and international events to sport, technology and the latest celeb gossip) you're probably aware that there's quite a lot of it about.
Thanks to the internet, you can follow breaking news as it happens. You can get the latest headlines without having to wait for the evening bulletin or the morning paper. You can read the news and share it with others at the click of a button.
And you don't have to limit yourself to one news source. You can check news feeds from around the country - and across the globe.
With so much news about, it can be a job just keeping on top of it all. Luckily, we've got a real exclusive. Internet Explorer 8 optimised for MSN lets you access the best news sites on the web, easily, instantly, and without even leaving the web page you're on.

Download the browser and you'll find News, Life and Style, Money, Cars, Celebrity, Environment, Travel and many more, all pre-loaded and ready to use. Microsoft
And you can keep MSN with you wherever you are on the web. Download the MSN News web slice (a web slice is a little slice of a web page that stays with you as you surf) and you can access updated MSN headlines in just a second or two. You'll find it by mousing over the News module on the MSN UK homepage. You don't have to go to MSN - quite simply, MSN comes to you. Just look for the all-important green button when you hover over the links (see screenshot), click it and select 'Add to favorites bar' - simple!.
For information junkies, it can be interesting to keep tabs on what everyone else has been viewing, too. That's where the Digg web slice comes in. The Digg community votes for the best news, images and video, and the web slice keeps the results - constantly updated - right at your fingertips.
Meanwhile, the Digg accelerator means you can share the great stories you find on the web at the click of a button. Download Internet Exporer 8 for MSN, head to the add-ons gallery and grab the Digg accelerator. Then look out for the blue box on your story headline and Digg it!
There are lots of other news sites out there, of course, and Internet Explorer 8 add-ons have many of them covered. If you're interested in news from across the pond, the New York Times web slice displays an at-a-glance selection of recently updated content. Again, it's right there with you wherever you are on the net.
Or maybe you already have some favourite RSS news feeds set up already from around the internet? You can turn these feeds into your very own news ticker using Internet Explorer 8 and the ENewsBar which you can download from the Internet Explorer 8 web slice gallery.
And of course, you can't have news without weather. The Weather Channel Toolbar for Internet Explorer 8 keeps you up to date with all things snow, sunshine and rain related, so you know whether to pack brollies or bikinis (we're guessing brollies).
You've probably got the picture (and the story). In a word, if you like to keep on top of the news, you have to get hold of Internet Explorer 8 optimised for MSN. It brings all your favourite news sources together in one place, and means you're never out of the loop.

Personally I think it would be a good idea to send all the bankers , politicians , religious leaders , generals etc, to the south pole for a month. Then I'd like to see our 'armed' forces return home to bolster the police, fire and ambulance services.
